Sponsorship

Each year, the Australian Junior Gliding Club provides financial sponsorship to pilots who wish to increase their involvement in gliding but do not have the means to do so. This can be for any gliding related activity – cross-country coaching, maintenance courses, competition flying, instructor training etc.

Historically, sponsorships have been in the range of $200 – $500, depending on the various circumstances.

• Sam received funding in 2021 to complete his L1 instructor training in South Australia

• Natan'El, Cam and Belen each received funding in 2019 to attend JoeyGlide in Kingaroy
